Asheville’s Premier Running Club — Voted #1 Running Club in the Best of WNC 2013

The oldest road race in Asheville (38 years!) winds through beautiful downtown Asheville, North Carolina, passing into the Historic Montford District, the Reed Creek Greenway, and Riverside Cemetery, before finishing in front of Thomas Wolfe Memorial House at 52 N. Market St.

In addition to the awards at the end, this race is unique in that it includes two cash sprints: the 1 Mile Sprint and the 3 Mile sprint, both sponsored last year by Jus’ Running. The fastest male and female runners at each marker will receive a cash bonus of $50.00!!!The 38th running of the TW8K is also part of the 2014 Asheville Track Club Grand Prix series. NEW!!! Asheville Track club Volunteer Connection

We all appreciate the hard work and commitment it takes to coordinate a well organized race. Creating a successful event starts with the help of enthusiastic volunteers. We are adding a new page to the ATC site to connect folks who wish to volunteer with the local area races that need their help. Interested in helping out with a race? Please check out our new Volunteer page. We will be listing the volunteer positions and contact information for races in the Asheville/Buncombe county area. Stay tuned in the upcoming weeks as we add more races to this page.

Are you coordinating or directing a race and need volunteers? Please contact Ali Schuetze to post your information on our site.

The 2014 Wired Mouse ATC Grand Prix has been updated through the Firecracker 5K.  Click here to check the current standings.

  1. I almost never comment, but I read a few of the comments on this page Asheville Track Club
    | Asheville’s Premier Running Club. I actually do have 2 questions for you
if you do not mind. Is it just me or do a few of these responses look
as if they are coming from brain dead people? :-P And, if you are writing at
additional sites, I would like to follow you. Would you list of all of all your social networking sites like your twitter feed, Facebook
    page or linkedin profile?

  2. I read this article completely about the comparison of most up-to-date
and previous technologies, it’s awesome article.

  3. If you want to obtain a good deal from this piece of writing then you have to apply these techniques to your
    won website.

  4. I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own blog
and was wondering what all is required to get setup?
I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny?
I’m not very internet smart so I’m not 100% positive.
Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated.
    Many thanks

  5. Hello colleagues, its wonderful article on the topic of cultureand completely defined, keep it up
    all the time.

  6. I pay a quick visit everyday some web sites and blogs to read posts, but this blog
    provides quality based writing.

  7. Wondering if those who completed the beginners running program in June will be getting out 6 month membership cards. Looking to take advantage of the discounts on some new gear. Thanks.
