The Asheville Track Club’s Grand Prix competition is one of the best around with over $5,000 in cash prizes awarded annually. Points are given based on your participation and speed in the races we select for the year. Compete against other track club members in your gender, division and age group. Run in as few as 5 of our selected races (3 races for kids) to qualify for an age group award, 10 for a chance at an overall award. This competition is exciting, challenging and rewarding. New members will enjoy being better connected to the Western North Carolina running and walking community and renewing members will ensure that they continue to enjoy their connection to the community as well as significant savings at many local merchants.

Asheville Track Club Scholarship Program

In keeping with its mission to support running and fitness in Western North Carolina, the Asheville Track Club has established a scholarship program for high school seniors who are planning to continue their education and who have demonstrated a commitment to running. Recipients do NOT need to be members of a school team. Two $1000 scholarships (one male, one female) are awarded each spring according to the following criteria. Applications must be submitted no later than May 31, 2018.
